Alert throughout the Pacific Ocean * UN: Many islands have nowhere to escape from because they are no higher than the tsunami waves
An earthquake measuring 8.9 on the Richter scale struck today, March 11, 2011 near the coast of Onshu Island in Japan, as a result of a thrust in or near the seam area between the Pacific plate and the North American plate. At the latitude where the earthquake occurred, the Pacific plate is moving west relative to the North American plate at a speed of 83 millimeters per year. The Pacific plate is pushed under Japan and goes under the trough under the Eurasian plate.
The strength of the current earthquake is so strong, and in particular it also brought in its wake a tsunami with waves 10 meters high, which are difficult to deal with even in a modern country like Japan. The United Nations reported that the height of the tsunami waves is higher than the highest points on some of the islands of the Pacific Ocean and the fear is for the fate of those staying on these islands. Tsunami alert caused the evacuation of citizens from the coastlines in dozens of countries along the coasts of the Pacific Ocean in America, Asia and Oceania. The sensitivity to this is particularly high in light of the results The 2004 tsunami disaster, and in light of the fact that it still takes several hours for waves to cross the vast Pacific Ocean.
The US Geological Survey said the focus, depth and focal mechanism of the March 11th earthquake were consistent with those occurring when a plate was pushed at a plate boundary. Although the area is divided into microplates, they do not change the picture, because each of them behaves as part of its mother plate (the Pacific, North America and Eurasia).
The great earthquake was preceded by great tremors for about two days. On March 9, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.2 on the Richter scale occurred about 40 kilometers away from the big earthquake, and later that day three more earthquakes with a magnitude of 6 and above occurred.
Japan's fault line has experienced nine earthquakes of magnitude 7 or higher since 1973. The largest was a magnitude 7.8 earthquake about 240 kilometers north of today's. In December 1994, a strong earthquake occurred in the same area, causing 3 deaths and 700 injuries, and in June 1978, an earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale, approximately 35 kilometers southwest of the current epicenter, caused 22 deaths and approximately 400 injuries.

There is no such thing as 8.9 on the Richter scale. The Richter scale is up to magnitude 6, such a high level is not measured on the Richter scale but on another scale - we should say an earthquake of magnitude (intensity) 8.9. Richter scale is not relevant
Is it possible that this data has something to do with it?

I always feared that the sky would fall on my head - and this is the proof!!
The end of the world has come!!
Earthquakes have always been and always will be.
If there is a connection to global warming, it is still not possible to connect the things
And an expert! You should know, you (the expert???)
After all, it is known that the moon affects the earth, but it affects the whole year and not just today
Linking this to this is an act of folly of the hidden majority when? Some ? and how?
Shabbat Shalom to you
6 The answer to your question is of course yes, so get ready 🙂
Are the recent earthquakes related to the end of the world according to the Maya (2012)
Answer me urgently
Is the earthquake related to global warming?
Has the frequency of earthquakes increased in recent years?
I am in the process of writing an article (or rather a translation from the corresponding website Universe Today, a long-time content partner of the science website), in which it is explicitly written that except for astronomers and astronomy enthusiasts, this data has no meaning. These are fractions of a percent of the small distance the moon reaches each month.
Can someone please explain to me what is this blatant disregard for the fact that over the past few weeks, several warnings have been published regarding the expected effects and dangers, and with an emphasis on strong earthquakes that are expected, since the moon is at a point very close to the earth in the coming week?
Why are you keeping the matter quiet? Did anyone out there predict the earthquake and no one sees fit to talk about it?
The forces of nature are scarier and scarier with every YouTube picture that is posted. It's bone-chilling to see this much water wipe out entire residential areas and fields in an instant.
Let's hope they leave with as little loss of soul as possible.
