Israel successfully launches the "Ofek 19" observation satellite into space

The Space Directorate at the Israel Aerospace Industries, the IDF, and the Israel Aerospace Industries carried out a successful launch using the "Shavit" launcher; the satellite entered its orbit around the Earth and will soon undergo tests in preparation for full operational activity.
