Dust rings

Astronomers have used the James Webb Space Telescope to detect a planet of similar mass to Saturn around the young star TWA 7. In this image, which combines data from the VLT ground-based telescope and Webb's MIRI instrument, the star's light has been removed. The location of the star is marked by a circle with an asterisk in the center. The blue area indicates the disk around the star (SPHERE data), and the orange area indicates the MIRI data.
