Minister of Foreign Affairs Benjamin (Foad) Ben Eliezer said during the ceremony that "the approval of the state budget reflects the clear intention of the State of Israel to continue to maintain Israel's comparative advantage and maintain technological leadership, together with a large investment in employment, especially in the periphery and investment in small and medium-sized businesses."
