Elbit Systems recently presented unmanned vehicles at a press conference in Haifa. This is how Elbit Systems offers, alongside the family of advanced UAVs produced by it, also as unmanned aerial vehicles: "Silver Marlin" and "Stingray".
The "Silver Marlin" is a ship capable of carrying out tasks in a fully autonomous manner, building the tactical picture around it and avoiding collision with obstacles and vessels around it, unlike other remotely controlled vessels. Among other tasks, the Silver Marlin is able to perform combat support tasks, mine detection, search and rescue tasks and more, at high speed and in difficult conditions.
The systems installed on the "Silver Marlin" bring to light the synergy that exists between the various business units of Elbit Systems and the power multiplier they create for the user. On top of the ship is installed a Compass-type mount developed by the Elbit Electro-Optics subsidiary company, and a 7.62 mm or 12.7 mm firing position, stabilized and remotely controlled, developed by the Tadiran Land and ICT Division. Also installed on the ship is a "Roim Olam" system developed by Elbit Systems for the tankionics field and allows 360 degree vision. The ship's computer system was built on the basis of the computing infrastructure of unmanned aircraft. A single ground station can operate both a UAV and an autonomous ship.
The high-speed "Stingray" UAV produced by Elbit Systems is equipped with a portable and compact mission control station (mMCS), which allows its operators to monitor its activity and the payloads it carries throughout the mission. The "Stingray" is intended for maritime defense and security missions in the port area as well as for event management and damage assessment and training Gunners on a moving target.
Both of these UAVs have autonomous navigation and positioning capabilities and cruise and stabilization sensors designed to prevent overturning, and they are an optimal solution for beach and port security tasks, maritime intelligence gathering and electronic warfare at sea.

A fine day script will arise and be revealed in front of us. In the end there will be a war against calculating machines.
So when will these unmanned ships finally replace the steels?
Kudos to Elbit, thinking outside the box.
This is before DNA. The machine can smell the enemies.
Is the shooting machine automatic or is it remotely controlled?
