The question of whether dust is good or bad has no unequivocal answer.
Most people remove it by vacuuming, wiping or vacuuming. For many, the dust causes bundles of trouble as a carrier of allergens and as a contaminant. The air we breathe contains a spectrum of particles, many of which are... harmful: fungal spores (fungus) that cause heat, mineral fuel particles, ozone molecules that are carried on dust grains, or "clean" dust grains. All of these cause a long list of allergies, asthma, an increase in heart attacks, types of cancer and other diseases that harm the "breathers" of the dust.
The sources of dust created by human activity (burning of mineral fuel) are toxic and harmful, but also natural sources of dust - volcanic dust or smoke from forest fires - have a negative effect.
Some researchers define the dust as "terrestrial poison", "geotoxicology" others appreciate its contribution to the development of life in the sea and on land, since the dust is not only a negative phenomenon, dust in the oceans is a fertilizer that nourishes phytoplankton with iron, dust fertilizes the rainforests in the Amazon basin as well as the forests of the islands in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
While climate change appears to affect the amounts of dust in the air, in some areas dust moderates warming by radiating heat into space, while in other areas dust forms a "cover" that keeps the heat in the atmosphere.
Studies show that during the ice ages more dust was created and there was more dust in the air.
Dust was created by glaciers that eroded, crumbled and ground the rock on which they moved. Even today, "milky" water flows under the glaciers because of the many particles that are carried in the water, particles that will settle as layers of dust that are exposed when the glaciers retreat. Ice ages brought dryness to extensive areas, areas that became deserts, Deserts that are partly sandy, sand that provides dust for huge storms, storms that transport dust over great distances.
In the 1930s, large areas in the central US became a "dust cauldron", a dust cauldron created due to a number of years of drought that disrupted agricultural areas. The dust cauldron was probably the largest artificial event of dust creation due to human actions.
The origin of most (natural) dust today is the deserts. Therefore, there is no unequivocal answer to the question of whether dust is good or bad. Fertilization against breathing difficulties, heat irradiation against keeping it.
"The answer to the question is carried in the wind."

Something from yesterday, on dust.
