In honor of the centennial celebrations, and under the auspices of the Quantum Center of Tel Aviv University, I am organizing, together with cellist Dr. Shulamit Sarid, a unique concert that will tell the story of quantum mechanics, from the creation of the world to the present day. The event combines music and unique video clips to illustrate the scientific phenomena. Tickets are free with advance registration. For more details, see the bottom of the invitation.
This year, the world celebrates the centennial of the development of quantum mechanics—a scientific framework that has driven revolutions in technology, culture, and everyday life (even when we are not always aware of it). In honor of the occasion, and under the auspices of Tel Aviv University’s Quantum Center, I invite you to a one-time evening that unites science, music, and art. We will embark on a historical journey from the Big Bang to the present day, discover surprising phenomena in quantum mechanics, and compare physical and musical ideas, from the classical to the modern world. This evening, we invite you to learn about the wonder of the universe and be moved by the artistic beauty it offers.
