Chapter 1 - Tel Aviv 360 podcast of Tel Aviv University Led by Prof. Oded Lifshitz, Department of Archeology at Tel Aviv University
The biblical story of the history of the Kingdom of Judah, as told in the books of Joshua, Judges, Samuel and Kings, describes the point of view of the Jerusalem elite: what it knew, what it wanted to tell and what served its political, religious and economic interests. In this series of essays we will try to find out what the authors of the biblical history did not tell in their historical description? On the one hand, they did not tell about what they themselves did not know, especially about events from the distant past. On the other hand, they did not tell about what happened far from the eye and far from the heart - far from Jerusalem and the borders of Judah. But mostly it is interesting to understand what the authors of the biblical descriptions did not tell even though they, and also the audience for whom they wrote the things, knew, and maybe even knew very well, but they did not want to tell, because the things did not match their historical line, the goals of the story and the ideology his. Archaeological and historical studies, as well as a study of the biblical text allow us to uncover the untold story. This is what will be done later in the series.

I haven't listened yet, and I will listen, but it is strange that a group of archaeologists is trying to determine and analyze not only what is found on the site, but also the mindset, political assertions, what they are hiding, very, very strange... I hope the podcast will be of high quality and reliable
Thanks
