Before the solar eclipse: a lecture at the Astronomical Club, an event for youth on the day of the eclipse at the Weizmann Institute

While a large group of Israeli astronomy enthusiasts, including your faithful servant, will watch the total solar eclipse in Turkey, in Israel the observers are organizing for the solar eclipse which will be seen from here as a partial eclipse.

The Young People in Science Project (YMSD) at the Weizmann Institute will hold the Astronomy Club for Everyone, on Wednesday, March 29.3.06, 11, starting at 00:12. A week earlier, on 22/3/05, there will be a lecture on solar eclipses as part of the Astronomical Club of Tel Aviv University. Lecturer: David Polishok, Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics, Tel Aviv University. The lecture will take place at 19:00 in the "Heart" hall, Tel Aviv University.

On the science website we will bring you various articles in the time left until the eclipse - how to photograph an eclipse, details on the path of the eclipse and more. We also hope to report in real time, or at least the evening after the eclipse, from Antalya.
