The shuttle led to the station a mini Russian research laboratory known as Rasvet (Dawn in Russian), which will provide more storage volume and a new docking station for Russian Soyuz and Progress spacecraft
The space shuttle Atlantis with its six crew members landed this afternoon (15:48 Israel time) at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, after 12 days in space.
Mission STS-132 is the third of five missions planned for 2010 that will end the shuttle project as a whole, and the last programmed for Atlantis. The shuttle led to the station a mini Russian research laboratory known as Rasvet (Dawn in Russian), which will provide more storage volume and a new docking station for Russian Soyuz and Progress spacecraft.
The entire team consisted of veteran astronauts, some of whom had already retired from NASA and returned for this mission. The team was headed by Commander Ken Hamm and pilot Tony Antonelli and the other crew members who also performed spacewalks were Garrett Raisman, Michael Good, Steve Bowen and Pierce Sellers. In the first three walks, the astronauts focused on replacing and installing components outside the station, including six solar panels, installing a communications antenna and adding parts to the Canadian Dexter robotic arm.

For my father, you did not write down how long he was at the station
I will try to update at night.
You did not inform my father about the Soyuz landing
Correction - that this tool is so heavy...
What is most amazing is that this heaviest one lands back like a huge glider, without any engines.
That in itself is really amazing.
My father when is the next flight to the space station
To my father.
Thanks for the amazing video.
It is exciting to see the technological and professional level demonstrated here.
There is something exciting and touching about the suspension of flights. After 30 years, there is no worthy replacement for these wonderful machines...
Doron.
Apparently, one Endeavor and one Discovery. Otherwise we would have heard before that this is the last flight of any ferry (and not just the current flight).
Avi, it is also written that this is flight 3 out of five
Which spacecraft will do the remaining 2?
It is explicitly written in the news.
How many flights are left for my father?
