"This diagram explains how the light from the distant galaxy is disrupted by the gravitational influence of a nearby galaxy that is in the way, acting like a lens and making the distant object appear blurry but bright. This process creates rings of light known as Einstein rings. Analysis of the disruption has revealed some of the star-producing galaxies At a great rate and brightness in the light of 40 trillion suns and it has been magnified by gravitational lensing up to 22 times.
