The Authority established a committee to verify the authenticity of the inscription of King Jehoash and the inscription on the coffin of Ahi Jesus; The findings: the inscriptions were enacted in the modern period; The items were taken from the antiquities collector, Oded Golan
The inspection committee established by the Antiquities Authority to check the authenticity of the inscription of King Jehoash and the glosskama (coffin) attributed to the brothers of Jesus determined that both inscriptions are fake. This was announced this morning at a press conference convened by the Jerusalem Antiquities Authority. The authority determined that the inscriptions on the two items were enacted in the modern period.
Two committees checked the items. One committee examined the writing and content, another committee examined their covering layer (patina). As for the Jehoash inscription, it was determined, among other things, that "the patina on the writing side of the Jehoash inscription is made of cardboard chips containing perforations, coal clay and gold chips mixed together", and that "in nature, such a combination is almost impossible." As for the glosskama of Ahi Jesus, it was determined, among other things, that "the letters are late for the patina and cut it with the glosskama".
The Antiquities Authority established the two inspection committees about two months ago, to check the authenticity of the items taken from the antiquities collector, Oded Golan.

And this year (2018) it was proven that Yehoash's inscription is real!!
And there is reliable testimony that the person who inspected the tomb of Jesus and his brothers deliberately disrupted the findings so as not to cause a conflict with Christianity.
