Since the beginning of the war, tens of thousands of male and female students and faculty members have been widely recruited, according to estimates this is about 30% of all university students. "With the clear goal of not harming the student community, which includes reservists and their spouses along with residents of conflict zones who were evacuated from their homes, families whose loved ones were murdered, kidnapped or injured - the board of heads of the research universities informs about the postponement of the start of the 2018 academic year."

"The winter semester will open in all research universities with the beginning of the release process of those conscripted into the reserves, but not before December 3.12.2023, XNUMX. Before the start of the semester, two weeks advance notice will be given, which will be devoted to returning to routine and the academic track, after which studies will begin."

"We aim for the school year to be held in its entirety and include two full semesters. As the need arises, the school year will also slide into the summer period. The individual decisions regarding the structure of the school year will be made at each of the universities."
