Those who want to find out if their spouse loves them, but are not sure about the reliability of the answer they will receive, can use sophisticated software that detects emotional states by analyzing the speaker's voice. There is no doubt that this will be one of the most popular home uses of the software, which was developed by the Israeli Nemsysco company.

This version of the software, called "love detector", knows how to identify the level of emotional charge of the speaker in a phone call. According to the voice analysis performed by the software, it is possible to find out how much the subject likes the other speaker in the conversation and how much he is interested in him (or her).

A microphone or the telephone line is connected to the computer, through a special device, and the results are displayed on the computer monitor with the help of a simple visualization. Is the subject lovesick? 5 hearts will appear on the screen. Not so interested? Only one and a single heart will appear. A basic version of this cute software now appears on the website www.love-detector.com.

Nemesisco's development has of course many other uses. The CEO of the company, Amir Lieberman, says that the software can be used by anyone who wants to find out in real time the mental-emotional state of the speaker in front of him. "The user can tell if the other speaker is tense,
Confused, afraid or disappointed,'' he explains, ''and of course whether he is telling the truth or not. The accuracy level of the software reaches 90%, because it checks areas of the speaker's voice that are not under his control.''

Nemesysco (www.nemesysco.com) is a startup that has been operating for 3 years. Her first development, the Traster lie detector, received a lot of publicity at the time. This detector is the foundation of today's sophisticated voice analysis software. In the near future, the software will also be offered to doctors and psychiatrists who treat the mentally ill, who will be able to identify with it better
the mental state of any patient, even in a distant phone call.

Other entities that already use the software are non-civilian entities, such as intelligence agencies. Various entities currently engaged in the war on terrorism, including security agencies in the US and police forces in other countries in the world, have recently been equipped with the established system
About the software.

In Britain, it was recently reported that the police solved several murder cases with the help of the software. In one of the cases solved, a man was accused of throwing a cash register at his wife and killing her. During the interrogation, he casually uttered the words "cash register". A micro-frequency analysis of his voice while he said the phrase helped the researchers to detect that he was lying.

A British company called Digilog recently revealed that it had installed the Israeli software in customer center systems, to help operators identify a state of mental stress in callers.

Lieberman adds that insurance companies also intend to use the company's voice analysis systems to prevent fraud.
