Cross-sector coexistence, even in the complex times in Israel: Next week, the graduate conferences of the Shavit program - a path to scientific excellence in middle schools, of the Davidson Institute for Science Education, the educational arm of the Weizmann Institute of Science, will be held. As part of the alumni conferences of the program, there will be a competition in which 15 classes from both the Jewish and the Arab societies will take part, and will compete in the Rob Goldberg machine competition.

The Rube Goldberg machine is a complicated system consisting of many parts that performs a long process in a chain reaction, in order to finally perform a simple action. The classes that will participate in the Shavit program competition are 9th grades from the cities: Nes Ziona, Holon, Beer Ya'akov, Petah Tikva, Mevsaret Zion, Shapira Center, Tira, Tamra, Nazareth and Ein Mahal.

The next generation of students of the track for scientific excellence prove that even within the complex reality of Israel, it is possible to promote scientific excellence together. These days the classes are preparing well for the competition, and with great excitement to meet, present, compete and find out who will be the winning team! We wish everyone good luck!

In the Comet Track for Scientific Excellence, students get to learn science in an active way, with experiments, games, dedicated workbooks and activities developed by the Davidson Institute for Science Education. The teachers receive the required equipment, participate in recognized trainings and trainings and receive guidance and close supervision throughout the process. The Comet course managed to create a growing and fruitful community of teachers and students with a passion for excellence, who share the knowledge and experience they have gained.

  1. Keep on delusional. He who does not kill or incite is himself or his family members - Ahlan and Sahlan. Those who don't - expel!!. And you don't have to be pretty. The Arabs should say thank you for the very tolerant attitude on the part of the Jewish people.

  2. Yes, a wonderful coexistence, when Arabs want all of Israel, do not serve in the army, receive 10 times more benefits and rights than Jews and at the same time destroy their lives
